Roma Rejects Loan Offer for Jamie Gittens
Roma submitted a loan offer for the young English attacker Jamie Gittens, but Chelsea rejected the proposal. According to Sky Sports, Roma’s request included a €3 million loan fee and a €40 million purchase option.
Gittens, 22, joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for £48.5 million last season. Despite some promising performances, a February injury kept him out for the rest of the campaign. Chelsea, which has already sanctioned the departure of Alejandro Garnacho to Aston Villa, does not intend to sell or loan Gittens.
