AS Roma is pleased to announce the launch of Football Cares, an initiative to bring together the international football community to raise funds to address the escalating refugee crisis. President James Pallotta will kick off Football Cares with a significant donation. The funds raised will be equally distributed among the four humanitarian organizations working in the field: UNHCR, Save The Children, International Rescue Committee, and the Red Cross. The refugee crisis is a highly felt issue, with sixty million migrants having abandoned their homes due to war and persecution. AS Roma wants to do its part to help these people, and invites all clubs in the world to support Football Cares. Fans of every team are invited to support the cause with an offer. Fiorentina has already joined the initiative, and other clubs are invited to do the same. The auction site dedicated to the initiative will be launched soon, to give clubs and fans the opportunity to play their role. AS Roma is convinced that together we can achieve more, and that Football Cares can make a difference in supporting refugees. The initiative is a call to action for the entire football community to come together and make a positive impact. With the support of fans and clubs, Football Cares can help alleviate the suffering of refugees and provide them with the assistance they need.
