AS Roma is back in the race for Endrick, with AC Milan joining the pursuit of the Real Madrid striker for a January loan move. The 20-year-old Brazilian has managed just four minutes of league action this season, a situation that could push him towards a temporary switch.

The Giallorossi had come close to signing the same player during the summer. Sporting director Tony D'Amico had secured the player's approval and was in contact with Real Madrid before José Mourinho's intervention halted the deal. "Endrick? I think he needs to change, because it's tough for him to play in Madrid," said former Milan forward Alexandre Pato, also confirming the Rossoneri's interest.

The situation is being watched by Roma, who currently sit top of Serie A with 13 points from five games. Their next league fixture is away to Como on October 11th. Endrick's need for minutes is a concern even at international level. Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti noted, "The problem for Brazilian youngsters is that they don't improve because they don't play. Without playing they cannot progress."

The final decision will hinge on the playing time the forward finds in Madrid over the coming months. Endrick, signed by Real for 60 million euros, wants to establish himself at the Bernabéu but requires regular football. His last loan spell at Olympique Lyonnais in the second half of the 2025/26 season yielded 8 goals in 21 appearances. His future will be decided after the direct clash between the two clubs, scheduled for October 14th at the Stadio Olimpico in the Champions League.
