ROME - AS Roma host Inter at 18:00 in a direct clash for the top of the Serie A table. The Giallorossi, sitting first with 12 points from four games, welcome the Nerazzurri with the official starting lineups confirmed.
Roma manager Cristian Chivu has selected Diouf on the right flank and Dimarco on the left. For Inter, Gian Piero Gasperini opts for a back three of Balerdi, Mancini and Hermoso. The Inter attack will feature Dybala and Soulé behind sole striker Malen, with Thuram and Lautaro Martinez on the bench.
Inter's Tribute
Inter players will take to the pitch wearing black armbands. This tribute is in memory of Sandro Mazzola, a legend of the Milan club, who has died at the age of 83. The news shook Italian football just before kick-off.
The showdown comes hot on the heels of a 2-2 draw in the last meeting, played only yesterday. Roma, unbeaten in their last five league matches, aim to solidify their lead at the summit. After this match, the Giallorossi have a break before travelling to face third-placed Como on October 11th.
